Since there is no mixing, there is no concern about ratios of hardener typically associated with epoxies. The resin can be applied with applicator tabs, resin waste is minimized and post-sanding operations are greatly reduced. As a rapid repair solution using NSR's high intensity blue light, the repairs can be completed in minutes form beginning to end.
NSR resins can be used for repairing gel coat and fibreglass equipment with significant advantages over traditional gel coat repair products. NSR resins will cure at cold temperatures as well as it does at high temperatures. When it gets cooler than 50°F, the cure time for traditional gel coat repair materials can greatly increase. With NSR resins you can still cure the resin in 30 seconds if it is 28°F or 110°F. NSR resins do not have a noxious odour typically associated with other resin products. NSR resins require no mixing since they are single component, light activated material.

To repair the kayak all you need to do is sand down the damaged area to enable the resin to get a firm grip. Once done apply some resin to the plastic applicator sheet provided and then press firmly onto the damaged area. Then hold the LED torch over the resin for 30 seconds which activates the resin and sets it hard.
